Ravi has been working in the wider Financial Services industry for over 23 years in New Zealand and overseas. In the last 16 years he has worked in the NZ credit and collections industry specialising in the following areas:

 

• Debt recovery

• Credit reporting

• Credit management training

 

During this long and successful tenure, Ravi has successfully acquired and managed business relationships with a number of large commercial entities in the Banking, Finance, Insurance, Government, FMCG, Construction, Manufacturing, Education, Health, Trading and Retail sectors and therefore enjoy a sound knowledge and understanding of the real challenges and needs of organisations in these sectors in the wider credit and finance space.

 

Ravi has held a number of senior sales and relationship management positions with Veda (now Equifax), Baycorp, Receivables Management Group, Pulse Energy and BNZ for nearly two decades.

 

Overseas in India he started his career in the banking and finance industry working in various sales management roles in lending, credit and collections with institutions such as Citi Bank, GE Finance, Tata’s.

 

Ravi was awarded the Fellowship of the New Zealand Institute of Credit and Finance (NZCFI) in 2017 for his support and contribution to the Institute for over 15 years. During this time he has run a number of educational and training programs. He has been on the Auckland Management Committee since 2008 supporting in the management and growth of the Northern Region and the Institute. He has also held the position of an Alternate Director for a number of years.

 

Ravi holds a MBA and PGDip in Business Administration from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Commerce and PGDip in Management majoring in Finance and marketing from University of Delhi, India.
